Quore in talks to buy Intouch Cellular

Quore in talks to buy Intouch Cellular

Vodafone Platinum Partner Quore is in talks to buy Dorset-based telecoms dealer Intouch Cellular as part of an acquisition spree aimed at making the company into a major UK telecoms provider.
The move is part of parent company Quore Group’s aggressive buy and build strategy. The deal is expected to be sealed before the end of the month and will bring the Sutton-based telephony specialist around 3,500 b2b and corporate mobile connections and around 400 customers. A spokesperson for Intouch confirmed the companies were in talks but stressed it would be ‘business as usual’ if a deal was to go ahead. She added there were no plans for redundancies or office closures.
A spokesperson for Quore Group refused to comment. However, the company outlines its growth strategy on its website and said it wants ‘to be one of the largest telecoms partners in the UK’. It said: ‘Our corporate business is on an acquisition spree targeting mobile telecoms dealers, we can acquire a mobile dealer within eight weeks, we then incorporate those clients within the group structure and cross sell a multiple of telecoms products.’ It has an email address on the website for interested parties to email the MD directly.
The group was set up in 2010 by founder Ronnie Nag and includes Sutton-based Future Telecoms Services and accessories brand QL. It is also building its smartphone and tablet accessories business. Late last year it expanded its white label accessories business, setting up its own accessories brand QL.
In May this year Quore was promoted from Gold to Platinum Partner status by Vodafone, after beating its Gold Partner sales targets.
